In September 1998 I went to India for four months. After leaving an unsatisfactory job I wanted so relax and see something new. I travelled mainly in northern India, near the Himalayas and at the end also 10 days on the Andaman islands far off in the Bay of Bengal, actually closer to mainland Thailand than to India. Up in the Himalayas I went on some trekking, met the Dalai Lama and also taught English to Tibetan refugees. I made friends in Calcutta and saw the Ganges.
During my travels a wrote some letters (in Swedish).
